Dr. Emaree Stone is an optometrist with a degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Prior to PCO, Emaree attended Blue Mountain Christian University in Blue Mountain Mississippi where she was team captain of the softball program for three years and earned degrees in Biology and Chemistry while being a member of the Health Science Club.
Dr. Stone is excited to start her career at Costello Eye where she will provide empathetic and patient – based care which she feels is embodied by Costello Eye Group. Dr. Stone looks forward to building long term, strong patient relationships while improving ocular health and furthering eye health education to the community.
Dr. Stone participated in both the Ambassador program while at PCO and provided eye care for athletes at the Special Olympics Events while PCO.
Growing up in the middle of nowhere Mississippi, Emaree helped time pass by playing softball and soccer, with softball being her predominant passion as she played for 17 years both throughout high school, competitively, and through college.
Today the washed up has – been, Dr. Stone enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, beach trips, pilates, and short runs with her 13 year old rescue dog, Bentley. The two of them enjoy long walks and traveling to find the world’s best chicken nuggets (Bentleys favorite).
