Ganga Nair, M.D., has spent the last 15 years practicing ophthalmology in Yonkers, NY. She graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Chemistry and then attended medical school at the Health Science Center in Syracuse. Prior to starting her residency in ophthalmology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY, she spent one year in California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco for an internal medicine internship.
Upon completing her residency, Dr. Nair started working at a private practice in Yonkers, NY and continued there until joining Costello Eye. Her practice focused on, but was not limited to, the treatment of cataract, glaucoma, dry eye disease and diabetic eye disease.
Dr. Nair is board certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Nair enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys running and tries to run a half marathon every year. She also enjoys traveling and good food.
