Dr. Young Seol

Young Seol, M.D. completed his surgical and specialty training in New York City where he completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, America’s first specialty hospital. During training, he was awarded the Chairman’s Award for Academic Honors and Distinction. Originally from Iowa City, IA, Dr. Seol attended Brown University in Providence, RI for his undergraduate studies, medical school, and medicine internship.

Dr. Seol’s professional interests include the treatment of cataracts and glaucoma with a focus in minimally-invasive surgery. He is passionate about teaching and research, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. 

In his free time, Dr. Seol enjoys photography, traveling, and trying new restaurants with his friends and family.
